KC-NF8040 Industrial Nanofiltration Membranes

KC-NF 8040 Series are piperazine-based composite nanofiltration membrane elements developed for large-capacity water treatment, partial desalination, decolorization, and selective separation applications. The series includes NF1 high-rejection models and NF2 high-flux models to meet different water quality and operating cost requirements.

NF1 models are designed for higher removal of organic matter, heavy metals, pesticides, antibiotics, microorganisms, and most divalent or multivalent ions, while retaining part of beneficial minerals and small molecular substances. NF2 models provide higher permeate flow and lower operating pressure, helping reduce system energy consumption in drinking water, wastewater reuse, and process separation applications.

    FAQ

    FAQ

Q1. What is the main difference between NF1 and NF2 membranes?
NF1 is designed as a high-rejection nanofiltration membrane for stronger removal of organic matter, heavy metals, and multivalent ions. NF2 is designed as a high-flux membrane with more energy-efficient system.

Q2. What is KC-NF 8040 Series mainly used for?
KC-NF 8040 Series are mainly used in large-capacity nanofiltration systems for drinking water production, partial desalination, softening, wastewater reuse, decolorization, and material separation.

Q3. Can KC-NF membranes retain beneficial minerals?
Yes. Nanofiltration membranes can support partial mineral retention while selectively removing many organic substances, heavy metals, and divalent or multivalent ions, depending on feed water composition and system design.

Q4. Are KC-NF 8040 Series suitable for wastewater reuse projects?
Yes. They can be used for reclaimed water, wastewater reuse, partial desalination, and decolorization projects, especially where organic matter, color, or multivalent ions need to be reduced.
