Impianto di desalinizzazione dell'acqua di mare per l'approvvigionamento idrico costiero in Cina

Project Overview

This seawater desalination plant provides freshwater for nearby public facilities in China.

The plant combines membrane pretreatment with a two-pass RO process. KC-SW-8040 membrane elements are used in the first-pass SWRO section for primary desalination, followed by a second RO pass and post-treatment before distribution.

RO System Parameters

The first-pass RO system is equipped with 38 pressure vessels, each vessel contains 6 KC-SW-8040 membrane elements, giving 228 elements in total.

The system operates at approximately 11.8 LMH, with a 42% tasso di recupero, an operating pressure of 5.8–6.4 MPa, and a system salt rejection of approximately 99.6%.

The designed first-pass permeate capacity is approximately 100 m³/h, equivalent to about 2,400 m³/day. The permeate then enters the second-pass RO and post-treatment system.
