Progetto di desalinizzazione dell'acqua di mare per una comunità di ville costiere in Arabia Saudita

Project Overview

Built for a coastal villa community in Saudi Arabia, this compact seawater desalination plant supplies domestic water for residential buildings and shared facilities.

High-pressure SW RO section use KC-SW-8040 membrane are used for desalination, followed by remineralization and disinfection before the treated water enters the community storage and distribution system.

RO System Parameters

The RO unit uses KC-BW-FR8040 fouling-resistant brackish water RO membrane elements.

The SWRO unit is equipped with 48 KC-SW-8040 seawater RO membrane elements, installed in 12 pressure vessels with 4 elements per vessel.

With a seawater TDS of approximately 40,000–45,000 mg/L, the system operates at a design flux of 12.3 LMH and a recovery rate of 42%. Operating pressure is maintained within 6.0–6.6 MPa, with a system salt rejection of approximately 99.6%.

The designed permeate capacity is approximately 22 m³/h, equivalent to about 530 m³/day of desalinated water.
