KC-BW2540 & BW2521 Brackish Water RO Membranes
KC-BW-2540 and KC-BW-2521 are compact brackish water reverse osmosis membrane elements developed for small RO systems, decentralized water treatment equipment, and space-limited installations. Based on aromatic polyamide technology, they provide stable salt rejection and reliable permeate flow under low-pressure brackish water operating conditions.
Designed for feed water TDS up to approximately 5,000 mg/L, these models are suitable for brackish water, surface water, groundwater, and tap water treatment. KC-BW-2540 is generally selected for higher compact-system capacity, while KC-BW-2521 is better suited to smaller, low-flow RO equipment.

FAQ
Q1. How should I choose between KC-BW-2540 and KC-BW-2521?
Selection mainly depends on required water output, available installation space, and system configuration. KC-BW-2540 is generally used for higher compact-system capacity, while KC-BW-2521 is better suited to smaller low-flow equipment.
Q2. Are KC-BW-2540 and KC-BW-2521 suitable for decentralized water treatment systems?
Yes. Their compact size and low-pressure operation make them suitable for decentralized, remote, and small-scale RO systems.
Q3. Can these membranes be used for seawater desalination?
KC-BW-2540 and KC-BW-2521 are designed for brackish water and low-to-medium salinity feed water. For seawater desalination or high-salinity feed water above 10,000 mg/L, SW series membranes are generally recommended.
Q4. What should be evaluated before selecting these models?
Feed water TDS, target permeate quality, required water output, installation space, operating pressure, system recovery, and pretreatment conditions should all be reviewed.
